Ms. Yang joined the firm in 2003 and is currently an associate in the firm's corporate department. Her practice focuses on corporate transactions for start-up companies, including corporate governance counseling, mergers and acquisitions, private placements, technology licensing, stock option administration and protection and enforcement of intellectual property rights.
Ms. Yang received her J.D. in 2002 from Santa Clara University School of Law where she graduated summa cum laude and received Chargin Prize awarded to students attaining the highest GPA. While at Santa Clara, Ms. Yang was the Articles Editor for the Computer and High Technology Law Journal. She co-authored a case note on the subject of Copyright law which was published in the eighteenth edition of the Journal. Before obtaining her J.D., Ms. Yang received an LL.M from Indiana University in 1997. In 1992, Ms. Yang received a bachelor's degree in Law from National Taiwan University, Taipei, Taiwan, where she received two President's Award for her academic achievement.
Ms. Yang is a member of the State Bar of California and is admitted to practice in the California state courts. She is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court, Northern District of California.
